Custom heat-resistant HU alloy radiant tubes used in up to 2100°F heating systems
Our heat-resistant HU alloy radiant tubes shipped again
Today, one wooden case of heat-resistant HU alloy radiant tubes manufactured at LAWAI was delivered to the heat-treating company in south America.
This customer has already placed our heat-resistant HU alloy radiant tubes for several times since the lifetime of our centrifugally cast tubes is quite long. It is around 5 years in the normal condition.
What are the characteristics of heat-resistant HU alloy radiant tubes?
Heat-resistant HU alloy radiant tube is the Ni-Fe-Cr austenite material and it has the intermediate creep resistance and good elongation. The heat-resistant HU alloy radiant tube has the excellent oxidation and carbonization resistance. The HU alloy radiant tubes are suitable for being used in 2100°F furnaces or other heating systems with lower pressure for a long period.
Regarding heat-resistant alloys, you might want to know
The heat-resistant alloys were designed for centrifugal casting not forging. Because of the carbon proportion, we regard the heat-resistant alloy as the medium carbon steel. In order to avoid forming Cr depletion zone, the alloy designer increased the proportion of Cr. Increasing Ni to stabilize the austenite simultaneously.
Once the radiant tubes manufactured by centrifugal casting are cooled rapidly, the grain-structures of the tubes will be similar to forged materials. In addition, adjusting the proportion of alloying elements, the mechanical properties of heat -resistant tubes produced by centrifugal casting could perform much better than forgings in the environment with high temperature and high corrosion.
