LAWAI is the boutique-sized centrifugal casting foundry, therefore we are more flexible for the production. We worked with several companies to do the projects from prototype to mass production.  We provided them centrifugally cast tubes with lower quantities and customers used our materials for the trial production.  Most of them were the big success in the initial, so we could go to the next stage “ mass production” smoothly.

Centrifugal casting is not only the green manufacturing method but also the products manufactured from centrifugal casting are green. 

Steel is 100% recyclable. Therefore, the best alloy is able to be composed with the recycled raw materials.  And most LAWAI’s materials were composed by this way to face the crisis of the metal sparse and implement the sustainability thoroughly. 

Centrifugally cast products' strength is over 30% than static castings. And the mechanical properties are almost equal to forging.  Thus, the lifetime of the centrifugal castings are quite long. We regard every centrifugal casting produced by us as the very green products because of the long lifespan and the recyclability. 

The strength of centrifugal castings is beyond your imagination

The purity of the chemical composition is the key to achieve the mechanical properties you need.  Centrifugal casting is the technique to go through twice refinement. First step, we eliminate the impurities when melting the alloys. Secondly, we machine the remaining slags, oxides and other substances with lower densities away easily on the surface of inner diameter when the centrifugal casting is done. In addition, the manufacturing method of centrifugal casting is through the high speed rotation and directional cooling.  Ideally, the porosities would not appear on centrifugal castings.   Therefore, the strength of centrifugal casting products is not able to be replaced by other casting methods.

The tariff of our centrifugally cast tubes, sleeves and rings made of stainless steel and special alloys is the same as announced in 2018 by U.S.A. government. The stainless steel centrifugal castings did not be categorized in reciprocal tariff ( high tariff)
